Two things and you're done. This is read-only — Claude can see your coursework, it can't submit or change anything.
What's stored: your Canvas address and an encrypted copy of your token, under a random key that
only you get. It's used solely to call Canvas on your behalf when Claude asks. The operator of this server can
technically access stored data but does not use it for anything beyond running the tool. You can delete everything
at any time from the page you get next (or from
/data if you don't have that page saved), and
an unused connection deletes itself after 180 days.
Reading documents: if Claude asks to read a course file that isn't plain text — a PDF or Word
syllabus, say — that file is sent to Cloudflare's document-conversion service to turn it into text. This happens
only for files you ask about, and nothing is stored there. No file is sent anywhere unless a request asks to read
it.
